Upgrade for DVLA’s CCTV

ndigoVision’s integrated IP video solution is at the centre of a major upgrade for the CCTV capability at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) complex in Swansea.The DVLA aims to facilitate road safety and general law enforcement by maintaining registers of drivers and collecting road tax for the UK’s 34 million vehicles. The 100+ camera system was designed and installed by the Security Services Group (SSG), the UK Government’s own high security installation team. SSG recommended IndigoVision to the DVLA, having worked successfully with the company’s IP video system on other Government projects.

New CCTV for Trowbridge

A BRAND new CCTV system was officially unveiled in Trowbridge last week. The new upgraded system now has an additional six digital cameras, LCD flat screens to monitor the footage in both The Shires Shopping Centre and the town council offices and digital recording and control equipment as well as a wireless camera at the base of the Tesco footbridge. It brings the total number of CCTV cameras in public areas in the town to 25.
